What about grammar do you think people don’t understand…?

an awful lot of people don’t know simple grammar,it’s obvious. i’m sorry if i sound bitchy,but it really annoys me when people don’t use proper grammar .___. plus,i’m an English student so i’m meant to pick this out. just people using ‘your’ instead of you’re and vice versa,and people getting there/their/they’re mixed up. it’s pretty basic,in fairness. there are an awful lot of ones,but i can give loads of examples.

I’m interested in specific examples and exactly what “simple grammar” is. Besides there/they’re/their and you’re/your, what are the other awful lot of grammar mistakes?

i think the problem is not really that they don’t know their grammar. People are just typing/talking/texting too quickly, there is no time to actually think the half second you would need to get it right. (at least for me. but then english is not my mothertongue (so excuse the dump missuses of your beautiful language) One has to consider the medium used.
